On July 3, 2012, Roberto Villasenor pled guilty to 2 Counts Lascivious Acts with a Child for sexually assaulting a 13 year old child. The defendant waived time before sentencing and agreed to be sentenced to prison, for an indeterminate term not to exceed 20 years. The Court also entered a No Contact Order prohibiting the defendant from contacting the victim and her immediate family. The defendant is subject to a life time special sentence and supervision.

On July 5, 2012, Ryan Montgomery pled guilty to Sexual Abuse in the 3rd Degree for sexually assaulting a 12 year old child. The plea agreement is for the defendant to be sentenced to prison. Sentencing is scheduled for July 20, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. in Courtroom 209A.

On July 5, 2012, Deanna Jackson was sentenced for the crimes of Possession, Receipt, Transportation or Dominion and Control Over a Firearm as a Convicted Felon, a Class D felony, and Possession of a Controlled Substance With Intent to Deliver, a Class C felony, as a second or subsequent offender, in case numbers FE254015 and FE254016. She was sentenced to a maximum indeterminate term in prison of five (5) years and ten (10) years, consecutive, and must serve a mandatory one-third term of the ten (10) year term prior to becoming eligible for parole. This defendant was prosecuted by the Polk County Attorney’s Office Drug and Gang Bureau.

Sara Christeson was arraigned in FE255746 on a Fraudulent Practice 2nd , a Class D Felony. The defendant entered a plea of not guilty to the charge. A pretrial conference and trial date were scheduled.

Segundo Guaman was arraigned in FE256789 on Count I: Assault with a weapon; Count II: Interference with official Acts. The defendant entered a plea of not guilty to all charges. A pretrial conference and trial date were scheduled.

Thomas Barber was arraigned in FE256655 on a Theft 1st charge, a Class C Felony. The defendant entered a plea of not guilty to the charge. A pretrial conference and trial date were scheduled.

Ted Wade was arraigned in FE255098 on a Burglary 3rd degree charge, a Class D Felony. The defendant entered a plea of not guilty to the charge. A pretrial conference and trial date were scheduled.

Katherine Harris was arraigned in FE256986 on one count of Obtaining or attempting to obtain a prescription drug by Fraud, a Class C Felony. The defendant entered a plea of not guilty to the charge. A pretrial conference and trial date were scheduled.

Dana Chapman was arraigned in FE256656 one count of Theft in the First Degree, a Class C Felony. The defendant entered a plea of not guilty to the charge. A pretrial conference and trial date were scheduled.

Joshua Moore was arraigned in FE255458 one count of Possession of a Controlled Substance, 3rd or subsequent offense. The defendant entered a plea of not guilty to the charge. A pretrial conference and trial date were scheduled.

Raymond Foley appeared in court in case number FE255304 to enter a guilty plea to a Criminal Mischief in the 2nd degree, a Class D Felony. After making a factual basis, the court accepted the defendant’s guilty plea. A sentencing date is scheduled for August 23, 2012 at 9:00am in Room 204.

Christopher Riggs appeared in FE255630 for a status hearing. At the hearing, a guilty plea date was set for July 30, 2012 at 2:00pm in Room 204.

Roy Coleman appeared for a guilty plea in FE252942 on a Count I: Theft in the First degree, a Class C Felony and Count II: Dependent Adult Abuse, a Class D Felony. Defendant entered into a guilty plea pursuant to Alford v. North Carolina to Count II. The state agreed to dismiss count I at sentencing. A sentencing date is set for August 16, 2012. Prior to the sentencing date, the defendant is to complete a presentence investigation and victim offender reconciliation meeting the a member of the victim’s family and/or representative of her estate.

Tonya Penrod appeared for a guilty plea in FE254051 on a Count I: Theft in the First degree, a Class C Felony and Count II: Identify Theft a Class D Felony. Defendant entered into a guilty plea a less included charge of Theft 2nd in count I and the state agreed to dismiss count II at sentencing. A sentencing date is set for August 16, 2012 at 10:00. Prior to the sentencing date, the defendant is to complete a presentence investigation and victim offender reconciliation meeting with the victim.

Michael Dickey appeared for a pretrial conference in three cases FE: 254316, AG253616 and AG254222. Defendant maintained his not guilty plea all theft charges as filed in each case number. Individual trial dates for all three cases have been set in September, 2012.

Eric Melchert was to appear for a pretrial conference in FE252555 and SR252014. Defendant failed to appear in court as previously scheduled and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Lisa Sinclair was to appear for a pretrial conference in FE256752 for an arraignment. The court was informed that the defendant was hospitalized. A new court date has been rescheduled.

On July 6, 2012 Christopher West pled guilty to Child Endangerment. He was granted a suspended and probation. The conditions of probation include complying with all DHS recommendations and a No Contact Order.

On July 6, 2012, Andrea Torres was sentenced to prison in Polk County Criminal Number FECR232928 for a period not to exceed 10 years for the crime of Conspiracy to Manufacture a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) and for a period not to exceed 5 years for the crime of Possession of Ephedrine or Pseudoephedrine with Intent it be Used to Manufacture a Controlled Substance. The Court revoked the probation previously granted to the defendant. The defendant was prosecuted by the Polk County Attorney’s Office Drug and Gang Bureau.

On July 6, 2012, Dennis Flanders pled guilty in Polk County Criminal Number FECR255327 to the crime of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver (Methamphetamine) and Failure to Possess a Tax Stamp. Sentencing was set for a later date. The defendant is being prosecuted by the Polk County Attorney’s Office Drug and Gang Bureau.

On July 6, 2012, Patrick Young appeared in Polk County District Court in criminal number FE 254411. Young pleaded guilty to Obstructing Prosecution and was sentenced to 79 days in the Polk County Jail for providing false information in a murder case. Young was prosecuted by the Polk County Attorney’s Office Drug and Gang Bureau.

On July 6, 2012, Christopher Sandblom pled guilty to the crime of Conspiracy to Manufacture a Controlled Substance, a Class C felony, in case numbers FE254605. He will be sentenced on August 17, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. and faces a maximum indeterminate term in prison of ten (10) years, and must serve a mandatory one-third term prior to becoming eligible for parole. This defendant was prosecuted by the Polk County Attorney’s Office Drug and Gang Bureau.
