Internships
Crisis & Advocacy Services Intern Application
Senior Services:
We can host non-paid internships in the area of recreation, human services, wellness, and gerontology. Call 515-286-3679 for more information.
Youth Services:
We offer unpaid internships to students studying in a related field. We offer everything from short term observation of our facility to long term internships. The student must pass a criminal and child abuse background check.

Youth Volunteer Corps
Youth provide services to non-profit businesses and organizations in the community to complete work projects such as envelope stuffing or grounds cleanup. The work teams are supervised by Polk County Youth Services staff. Youth participate in these efforts as part of their program. Contact Scott Reed at 286-2100.
